Originally published in the very first issue of Primitive Quilts & Projects, Summer 11, this is definitely one of our all-time favorites!
Nothing says summer better than a night sky full of stars. We love how the light blue
cabin pieces subtly announce their presence, and how the gleaming red centers resemble
little jewels. The cascading stars along the border and across the cabins bring
to mind a family camp fire on a chilly summer night, complete with roasted marshmallows and
twinkling fireflies.

Quilt is Unique
This log cabin is a unique arrangement of foundation paper pieced and regular blocks. The addition of appliqué stars gives it that primitive look ... especially when stars are made from wool.

This is a very easy pattern to follow and the color variations are endless. A fun pattern to play with.
